Our AutoCare provides personal accident coverage on accidental death and permanent disability to Private Car customers with their vehicle under hire purchase loan.

We will pay the same amount of benefit to the beneficiary after paying the Bank for the outstanding amount of finance.

Benefits

AutoCare Insurance is sold exclusively to Maybank customers with hire purchase covering:

COVERAGES	BENEFIT AMOUNT (S$)
Section 1 – Accidental Death	150,000
If You sustained Bodily Injury during the Period of Insurance which results in Accidental Death within fifty two (52) weeks from the date of Accident, We shall : fully settle Your outstanding hire purchase loan with a financial institution for any private car registered under Your name up to the Benefit Amount, upon authorization from Your nominee or estate, and pay the remaining Benefit Amount, if any, to Your nominee or estate after full settlement of Your outstanding hire purchase loan under a) above, or if there is no authorization to settle any outstanding hire purchase loan, pay the full Benefit Amount to Your nominee or estate.
Section 2 – Permanent Total Disability	150,000
If You sustained Bodily Injury during the Period of Insurance which results in: Permanent Total Paralysis, or Permanently being bedridden, or Permanent Total Loss of Sight of both eyes, or Permanent Total Loss or Permanent Total Loss of Use of both hands or both feet or both limbs or combination of these. within fifty two (52) weeks from the date of Accident, We shall : fully settle Your outstanding hire purchase loan with a financial institution for any private car registered under Your name up to the Benefit Amount, upon authorization from You, and pay the remaining Benefit Amount, if any, to You after full settlement of Your outstanding hire purchase loan under a) above, or if there is no authorization to settle any outstanding hire purchase loan, pay the full Benefit Amount to You.
Section 3 – Other Permanent Disability	Up to 150,000
if You sustained Bodily Injury during the Period of Insurance which results in :
Permanent Total Loss of Hearing in both ears	75,000
Permanent Total Loss of Speech.	50,000
Permanent Total Loss of Sight of one eye or use of one hand or leg	15,000
Permanent Total Loss of Hearing in one ear.	15,000
Permanent Total Loss of use of a shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, ankle or wrist	75,000
Permanent Total Loss of use or loss by amputation of:
One thumb or forefinger	10,000
Any other finger or one big toe	5,000
Any other toe	2,000
Within fifty two (52) weeks from the date of Accident, We shall pay the Benefit Amount as specified.

Who can apply

Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident of Singapore
Of aged between 22 and 70 years old
