  1. What is Online Funds Transfer service?

    This is a service for transferring funds between your own Maybank Accounts, to another Maybank Account and to accounts maintained with other banks in Singapore. You can perform funds transfer via the following channels:

  2. How can I start using the Online Funds Transfer Services?

    You need to have a Savings or Current Account with Maybank and sign up for our Maybank2u.com.sg. You may also apply for an ATM Card to transfer funds via our Maybank ATMs and Cash Deposit Machines.

    For funds transfer to accounts maintained with other banks, you will need to register the account(s) via Maybank2u.com.sg. Alternatively, you can simply complete the Pre-Designated Funds Transfer Services form (PDF) and mail it to us.

    * The combined default limit for Funds Transfer (Two Business Days or Later) to payee accounts with another bank and within Maybank 3rd party accounts is set at S$3,000 per day
    ** The limit for Funds Transfer (Today) and Funds Transfer (Next Business Day) is defaulted at $3,000 per day

    To increase your limit for * and ** up to a maximum of S$20,000, simply complete the Daily Transaction Limit Update Request form (PDF) and mail the completed form to us.

    For immediate update of your Daily Transaction Limit, please login to Maybank2u.com.sg to make changes online via "Funds Transfer" > "View/Amend Limit".

  7. Is the Online Funds Transfer service free?

    It is free-of-charge for transfers between Maybank accounts. You can enjoy free usage of our Funds Transfer (Two Business Days) and Funds Transfer (Next Business Day) service too.

    A nominal charge of S$3 will be applicable for using our Funds Transfer (Today) service. Please be advised that the receiving bank may apply a service charge on the crediting account.

    You can schedule funds transfer up to 30 days in advance.

  11. What frequencies are available for Recurring Instructions settings?

    You can set the frequency to either weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually for each recurring transaction.

  12. When will funds be debited for Future Dated and Recurring Instructions?

    Funds will be debited 1 (one) business day prior to effective date specified for the transfer. If the date specified for the transaction falls on a Public Holiday or weekend, the transaction will be effected 1 (one) business day before the Public Holiday or weekend.

  13. Can I cancel my Future Dated or Recurring Instruction?

    You can cancel the funds transfer only if the request is made at least 3 business days before the effective date of transfer.

  14. Can I key in description for Transaction Details under Future Dated and Recurring Instructions?

    No. Currently, you can only key in descriptions for "Immediate Ad-Hoc Instructions".

  15. Where can I see the Transaction Details which I key in?

    Currently, the transaction details which you keyed in will be reflected under “Transaction History? Please note that the transaction details will not be indicated under "Funds Transaction History Inquiry".

  16. Can I use Online Funds Transfer services with a Maybank Credit Card?
