What is EFTPOS and EFTPOS limit?
EFTPOS refers to the electronic funds transfer made at the point of sale such as transactions performed at supermarket checkout terminals and bill payment service kiosks or stations.
EFTPOS limit is the daily aggregate limit extended by the Bank to our customers in respect of all applicable EFTPOS transactions, regardless of where such transactions are made. Therefore, transactions performed at EPINS terminals and at AXS Stations share the same combined limit for the day.How do I make a payment via an AXS Station?
After selecting a billing organisation and keying in the payment amount, you only need to insert your Maybank Platinum Debit Card, ATM Card, MasterCard Electronic ATM Card, or Maybank Credit Card linked to a savings or current account when prompted and key in your PIN. Upon successful processing of the transaction, a receipt will be generated.
What is the transaction limit for payments on AXS Stations?
The transaction limit for each payment is S$2,000. However, you will also be subject to a daily combined EFTPOS limit of S$3,000 per customer for payments on all AXS Stations.
Can I use a Maybank ATM Card or Maybank Credit Card issued in Malaysia?
No, you can only use a Maybank ATM Card, MasterCard Electronic ATM Card, or Credit Card issued by Maybank Singapore on the AXS Stations.
Can I choose to debit from my Maybank Current Account and not Savings Account for the payment?
Yes, simply follow the screen instructions to choose the debiting account.
Which Savings or Current Account will be used for payment if I have more than one account of either?
If you have more than one Savings or Current Account, only the designated primary Savings or Current Account will be used for transactions outside of Maybank's network such as AXS. The designated primary account is usually the first account opened with Maybank unless otherwise instructed by the customer.
How do I know if payment has been made to respective Billing Organisation?
You may contact AXS Hotline on (65) 6560 2727, from 8 am to 10 pm daily. You will need to provide the transaction reference number on the receipt, the location of the AXS Station, and the date and time of your transaction.
Who do I contact if I realise that my Maybank Savings/Current Account has been debited but the Billing Organisation did not receive my payment?
You may contact AXS Hotline on (65) 6560 2727, from 8 am to 10 pm daily. You will need to provide the transaction reference number on the receipt, the location of the AXS Station, and the date and time of your transaction.
