I recently applied for a Maybank credit card and called in to the Contact Centre to check on my card activation status and the billing cycle of the card.

K. Ng assisted me with my queries and was very friendly. What impressed me was that she asked if I know about the current promotion for the card! Thanks to her I was able to benefit from the promotion!

As other organisations push the responsibilities to customer to be aware of their promotions, K’s action has helped Maybank to stand out from the crowd

"I withdrew money from an ATM with my credit card as I thought that will entitle me to the promotion held and mentioned it to your staff, Sylvia Adriano. As I was in a hurry, I left shortly afterwards.

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from Sylvia the next day! She took the effort to retrieve my contact information so that she can let me know that I have misunderstood the terms of the promotion. On top of telling me the steps I need to do to be entitled to the promotion, she also followed up with me afterwards.
