  1. Who is eligible for the Maybank tr'eats Points Rewards Programme?

    The Maybank tr'eats Points Rewards Programme is open to all who hold a Maybank Credit/Debit Card issued in Singapore, except Maybank Family & Friends Platinum MasterCard Cardmembers. Maybank Cardmembers are automatically enrolled into the programme with no fees involved.

  2. How do I earn my tr'eats Points?

    tr'eats Points are awarded for every retail spend. You earn 1 tr'eats Point for every retail dollar charged to your Maybank Credit Card or 1 tr'eats Point for every $5 retail dollars charged to your Maybank Debit Card. tr'eats Points are calculated based on the value of retail transactions effected daily which will be rounded up or down to the nearest dollar. FlexiCash, Cash advance, Balance Transfer, 0% instalment payment plans, interest charges, late payment charges, finance charges, annual fees and other miscellaneous charges are excluded from the calculation of tr'eats Points.

  3. What is the validity period of my tr'eats Points?

    Depending on the month your card account is opened, your tr’eats Points will expire in either June or December of the following year. All tr’eats Points due to expire on 30 June or 31 December will have one month’s grace period for redemption. tr’eats Points accumulated shall expire on the expiry date indicated on the monthly Account Statement and any tr’eats Points not utilised by the expiry date will be forfeited. Your tr’eats Points will not expire if you are a Rewards Infinite member.

    • For 1st year new card accounts (Non-RI Member)
      For e.g., if the card account was opened on 25 March 2012, the tr’eats Points will expire the following year on 30 June 2013. Nonetheless, Cardmember will be given one month’s grace period to redeem the tr’eats Points, in this example, until 31 July 2013.
    • From 2nd year onwards (Non-RI Member)
      The expiry date of tr’eats Points accumulated shall be indicated on the monthly card statement and any tr’eats Points not utilised by the expiry date will be forfeited. Nonetheless, Cardmember will be given one month’s grace period, from the expiry date, to redeem the tr’eats Points.

    To check your tr'eats Point balance, simply refer to your monthly Consolidated Statement of Account or log into Maybank2u.com.sg (Online Banking) if you have the facility or via www.maybank2u.com.sg by keying in your card number and date of birth. To apply for Online Banking, please visit www.maybank2u.com.sg to download the application form.

  5. There is a negative balance of tr’eats Points shown in my statement. Why is there a tr’eats Point deficit?

    Negative balance of tr’eats Points may arise from (but not limited to) reversal of card transactions, manual redemption of items, Asean tr'eats (cross border) redemptions etc.

  6. What will happen to my tr’eats Points deficit?

    You may continue to charge to your Maybank Card to earn tr’eats Points to offset the deficit of tr’eats Points. In the event that the card account is closed, the equivalent value of the tr’eats Point deficit will be charged to your account accordingly at the rate determined by Maybank, and it will be reflected as outstanding balance in your card statement.

    Options for Redemption:

    1. Instant redemption at participating outlets
    2. Website redemption via www.maybank2u.com.sg by keying in card number and date of birth
    3. Online redemption* via Maybank2u.com.sg (Online Banking) by clicking on “Accounts” and then “tr’eats Points”
    4. Download the redemption form at Maybank2u.com.sg (available at “Maybank tr’eats Points Rewards 2013”). Fax the completed form to 6483 4137 or mail it to: Cards and Unsecured Credit, Maybank, Robinson Road P.O. Box 788, Singapore 901538

  9. I have received my Item Redemption Letter. Can I nominate someone to collect the reward item on my behalf?

    Yes, you can. However, please provide your representative with a letter of authorisation and the original Redemption Letter with your authorised signature on both. In addition, your representative will have to sign on the nomination portion and produce his/her NRIC card at the point of collection.

  10. Can I extend the validity of my Item Redemption Letter?

    All Redemption Letters will expire after 31 January 2014. No extension shall be granted.

  12. How do I know that my redemption request(s) is successful?

    You can log onto www.maybank2u.com.sg to check the redemption history or call 1800-MAYBANK (1800-629 2265) to check on the status of your redemption request(s). Alternatively, you can sms message (not exceeding 100 characters) in the following format to 9450 6890:

  13. How do I collect my reward item?

    To collect your reward item, you or your representative must present the relevant Redemption Letter, duly completed and signed, as proof of eligibility to the relevant Merchant.

  14. How do I redeem my rewards on the spot?

    Simply bring along your Maybank Card and NRIC to the participating Merchant, select your item and sign the redemption slip at the cashier’s counter. Please check business hours and stock availability in advance before proceeding to the outlet.
