What is Maybank Platinum Debit Card?
The Maybank Platinum Debit Card is a MasterCard Platinum Debit card, an ATM card and a NETS FlashPay card, all rolled into one.

Can I choose to link my CreditAble account for retail purchases?
No. You can only use our ATM or CDM services if your CreditAble account is linked to your Maybank Platinum Debit Card.

Is my Maybank Platinum Debit Card pre-activated for signature-based and online transactions? Why am I unable to use my Platinum Debit Card for retail transactions after receiving my card?
For security reasons, your Maybank Platinum Debit Card will not be pre-activated for signature-based and online transactions. You are required to activate your card using PIN at any of our Maybank Singapore ATM by selecting your Daily Spending Limit and Monthly Spending Limit.
How do I activate my Maybank Platinum Debit Card for retail transactions?
To activate the Maybank Platinum Debit Card for signature-based retail and online transactions, you will need to set your Daily and Monthly Spending Limits for your retail transactions at any Singapore Maybank ATM upon receiving your Maybank Platinum Debit Card. Please follow the following steps:
a. Insert your Maybank Platinum Debit Card
b. Key in your 6-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN), which has been sent to you in a separate mail
c. Select the Daily Spending Limit for your retail and online transactions
d. Select the Monthly Spending Limit
e. Confirm on the Daily and Monthly Spending LimitsOnce you have successfully activated your Daily and Monthly Spending Limits, you are ready to sign for your purchases or make online purchases.
Do I need to top up my Maybank Platinum Debit Card for retail purchases?
There is no need to top up your Maybank Platinum Debit Card for retail purchases as the transaction amount will be directly deducted from your Savings or Current account that is linked as the primary account.
Can I use my Maybank Platinum Debit Card for online transaction / phone transactions?
You may use the Maybank Platinum Debit card only for online transactions but not for mail or telephone orders.
Will I get any SMS transaction alert for retail transactions?
You will receive a SMS transaction alert:
a) when you first use a new card or renewal card;
b) when you make retail or online purchases at or above the pre-defined threshold amount of S$50 per transaction, or its equivalent if your transactions are charged in foreign currencies.
How to view the retail and online transactions on my Maybank Platinum Debit Card
How can I view my transactions done on my Maybank Platinum Debit Card?
You will need to apply for internet banking and view the transaction history in your Savings or Current account linked to the Platinum Debit Card for retail and online transactions. Alternatively, you can update your Passbook or refer to your bi-monthly SaveUp account statement or eStatement for your retail and online transactions. Due to space limitation in Passbook, the name of the merchant/merchant outlet will not be printed in Passbook. However, you can view the name of the merchant/merchant outlet via Internet Banking by viewing your Savings or Current account transaction history

tr'eats Points programme awards you tr'eats Points for every signature-based and online retail spending. You will earn 1 tr'eats Point for every retail dollar charged to your Maybank Platinum Debit Card.

If you hold other Maybank credit cards, you may refer to your credit card statements for the accumulated tr’eats Points balance for all cards.
If you do not hold other Maybank Credit Cards, you may view your t’reats Points via the following options:

The retail function (i.e. signature-based and online transaction) for your new Debit Card will be de-activated when sent to you. You can choose whether you want to activate your retail function at any Maybank Singapore ATM. If you choose to activate the retail function for your Debit Card, you will be given options to set your daily retail spending limit and monthly retail spending limit at Maybank ATMs. If you have chosen not to activate the card for retail and online transactions, the Daily and Monthly Spending Limits will be set as zero for both.
What are the amounts that I can set for my Daily Spending Limit and Monthly Spending Limit?
The amounts that you may choose for your Daily Spending Limit are as follows:
a. $1,000
b. $3,000
c. $5,000

Daily Available Spending Limit is the daily limit that can be used for retail transactions, subject to the available balance in the Savings or Current account that is linked to the Maybank Platinum Debit Card.
Monthly Available Spending Limit is the monthly limit that can be used for retail transaction, subject to the available balance in the Savings or Current account that is linked to the Maybank Platinum Debit Card.
Daily Available Spending Limit will be reset every day. Monthly Available Spending Limit will be reinstated on the 15th of every month. If you have chosen not to activate the card for retail and online transactions, the Daily and Monthly Available Spending Limits will be set as zero for both.

To change your Daily and Monthly Spending Limits:
Step 1: Call 1800-MAYBANK (1800-629 2265) or (65) 6533 5229 (Overseas) to reset your current Daily & Monthly Spending limit to zero

What is EPINS
What is EPINS?
EPINS is a direct debit payment function available at participating merchant outlets. You can make payment for your purchases at these outlets via EPINS using your Maybank Platinum Debit Card, Maybank ATM Card, MasterCard Electronic ATM Card or Maybank Credit Card linked to a Savings or Current account. The transaction will be verified with the PIN of your card.
What is EPINS Cashout?
EPINS® CashOutTM is a PIN-based debit withdrawal service that leverages on the existing EPINS infrastructure. EPINS® CashOut™ offers you a safe and convenient way to make cash withdrawals at all SingPost Offices in Singapore. The withdrawal amount will then be debited directly from your Savings or Current account and cash will be dispensed by the cashiers to you instantly.

What is NETS FlashPay
NETS FlashPay is a facility that allows you to pay for your purchases at participating NETS FlashPay merchants by tapping your card against a card reader. You will need to top up your NETS FlashPay card before you use it for payments. Your new Maybank Platinum Debit Card comes with NETS FlashPay facility.
What is NETS FlashPay
NETS FlashPay Auto Top Up (ATU) Facility is a feature that allows the value in the NETS FlashPay card to be automatically topped up when there is insufficient stored value to make a payment transaction in Transit (MRT/Buses), ERP and EPS (Cepas2 car parks only) or such payment locations or systems that NETS may designate from time to time. NETS will collect the ATU amount from your registered bank account that is linked to your Platinum Debit Card. For more information, please visit NETS FlashPay or the NETS FlashPay FAQ .
How soon will the next Auto Top-Up (ATU) occur, assuming that my Debit Card just received an ATU today?
Please note that there is an interval of 3 days between the current Auto Top-Up (ATU) and the next ATU. Assuming your card just received an ATU of S$30 on Monday. Hence, the earliest time your card can receive the next ATU is on Friday, the same week. If you require further top-ups during the 3 days’ interval period, please top up manually at any TransitLink offices. Alternatively, you can also perform a manual top-up at any 7-Eleven or Cheers convenience stores (a nominal service fee may be levied by the stores). You will be able to check the remaining balance on your NETS FlashPay at any TransitLink offices or via the LCD display of your car’s IU or via the card reader of TransitLink buses and MRT. Is there any service charge for using the Auto Top Up service?
No. Currently, there is no service charge for using the Auto Top Up service.

What is the minimum age requirement to apply for a Maybank Platinum Debit Card and iSAVvy Account?
You need to be at least 15 years old to apply for the Platinum Debit Card and iSAVvy Account. In addition, you need to be a Singaporean, Singapore Permanent Resident or Foreigner with work permit or employment pass.
If I am 15 years old and have applied for the Maybank Platinum Debit Card, will I be able to use my Debit Card for signature-based and online transactions?
No. The retail function (i.e. signature-based and online transaction) will not be available for customers below 16 years old. However, you can continue to use your Debit Card for NETS FlashPay and ATM transactions.
Do I need to inform Maybank to activate my Maybank Platinum Debit Card for signature-based and online transactions when I reach 16 years old?
No. Once you reach 16 years old, you can proceed to any Maybank Singapore ATMs when you next perform an ATM transaction, and the ATM will automatically prompt and ask if you would like to activate your Card for signature-based and online transactions. If you choose to activate your Debit Card for the abovementioned transactions, you will be prompted to set a Daily Spending Limit and Monthly Spending Limit.
How do I apply for a Maybank Platinum Debit Card?
You may visit any of our 22 Maybank Branches to apply for the Maybank Platinum Debit Card. Please bring along your NRIC (for Singaporean and Singapore Permanent Residents) or Passport and employment pass or work permit (foreigners only).If you are an existing Savings or Current account holder, you can also apply for a Platinum Debit Card or change your existing ATM Card to a Platinum Debit Card at any of our 22 Maybank Branches
When will I receive my Maybank Platinum Debit Card?
You will receive your Maybank Platinum Debit Card within 10 business days via normal mail.
I’m currently holding an existing Maybank Flash Debit Card / Maybank ATM / Maybank ATM MCE card, can I apply / convert to this new Maybank Platinum Debit Card?
Existing customer who has a Savings / Current account will be able to apply for the Maybank Platinum Debit Card at any Maybank Singapore Branch in person by filling up the application form. You will still be able to hold your current Flash Debit Card / Maybank ATM / Maybank ATM MCE card until further notification.

If you did not receive your card after 10 business days from the application date or if you have lost your card, please call 1800-MAYBANK (1800-629 2265) or
(65) 6533 5229 (Overseas) immediately to inform us. Next, you will need to inform NETS Customer Service Hotline on 6274 1212 to report the loss of your NETS FlashPay card. Any unused balance in your NETS FlashPay wallet or Auto Top Up wallet may be returned to you, subject to NETS’ Terms and Conditions.Operating hours of NETS Customer Service Hotline:
9.00am to 7.00pm (Monday – Saturday)
10.00am to 7.00pm (Sunday and Public Holidays)If you call NETS after office hours, please leave your name and contact number and a report on your lost card will be lodged. The liability of the ATU facility is subject to the terms and conditions of NETS FlashPay ATU facility. Upon receipt of a loss report, NETS shall cancel the lost NETS FlashPay card within 48 hours.
What is my liability if I misplaced or lost my Maybank Platinum Debit Card?
Your liability for signature-based retail and online transactions is limited to S$100 if
a. you have immediately notified us of the loss, theft or unauthorised disclosure/use;
b. you assist us in the recovery of the unauthorised charges incurred;
c. at our request you furnish us with a statutory declaration and/or police report accompanied by written confirmation of the loss, theft or unauthorised disclosure and any other information that we may require;
d. we are satisfied that such loss, theft or unauthorised disclosure is not due to your negligence or defaultWhat should I do if there are unauthorized retail transactions on my account transaction history?
You will have to call 1800-MAYBANK (1800-629 2265) or (65) 6533 5229 (Overseas) immediately to report any unauthorized retail transactions on your Maybank Platinum Debit Card.

What should I do if my Maybank Platinum Debit Card is damaged?
Step 1: Contact 1800-MAYBANK (1800-629 2265) or (65) 6533 5229 (Overseas) to request for a replacement card. The cost of each replacement is S$10.
Step 2: De-activate the NETS FlashPay ATU Facility at any iNETS Kiosk, the refundable deposit of S$30 for the ATU facility will be credited directly to your bank account within 14 working days
Step 3: 10 working days after deregistering for the ATU facility, you can then perform an online refund of the remaining stored value in the card at the TransitLink Ticket Office or iNETS Kiosk. This amount will also be credited directly to your bank account.
