  1. Why do you cease the Maybank Money Transfer Card?

    As part of our continuous review and improvement of our products and services, Maybank has decided to cease the Money Transfer Card product.

  2. Is there an alternative Money Transfer Card that I can apply?

  3. What should I do with my Maybank Money Transfer Card after 04 January 2014?

    Please destroy your Card after 04 January 2014 by cutting it into halves and dispose of it appropriately.

  4. When will the credit balance be refunded to me after the card is ceased?

    Please allow 30 days for us to process your refund after your card is ceased. If you have provided a Maybank Savings/Current Account Number before 04 January 2014, the refund will be credited to your account. If you do not have a Maybank Account, a cashier’s order will be issued in your name and sent to the same address as this letter.

  5. Do I then need to make fresh arrangements for the existing payment arrangements which are paid through my current Maybank Money Transfer Card?

    Yes. All payment and/or funds transfer arrangements tied to your Card will be terminated as well when your Card is ceased on 04 January 2014. Therefore, please make alternative arrangements should you require any.
