- Sign
on the back of your new card immediately.
This prevents anyone who picks up your
card from signing on it and using it.

Record our 24-hour hotline number 1800-MAYCARD
(1800-629 2273) or (65) 6410 3555 (overseas)
for immediate reporting of the loss
or theft of your card.
- Never keep your
PIN with your card. Do not use birthdays,
telephone or NRIC numbers as your PIN
as these numbers can be easily found
in your wallet.

- Treat
your card like cash. Never leave it
unattended and check it often to see
that it is safe.

Whenever possible, do not let your card
be out of sight while making payment.
- Always
check your card when you get it back
after making purchases in a store or
restaurant, as the sales person or waiter
might return a wrong card to you
- Always
retrieve your card at once after a completed
transaction. Return it to your wallet
or card holder immediately. Never leave
it in your pocket or shopping bag.
- Keep
all transaction receipts
- Never
give your card number over the phone
unless you are dealing with a reputable
company, or you have initiated the call
yourself.

statement |
- Always
check off all transaction receipts against
your bill, especially after an overseas
trip.
- Report
any unknown transactions or error to
us immediately.
- Tear
up your statement and all transaction
receipts before you throw them away.
This is to prevent anyone from possessing
your account information.

If you do not receive your statement
on time, contact us immediately.
- Report
a lost or stolen card to us immediately.
Most fraudulent use of cards occur within
the first few days of being lost or
stolen.

- Notify
us immediately of any change in address.
You will not want your bill to be sent
to an outdated address
- Do
not lend your card to anyone, not even
your relatives or friends.
- Never
disclose your PIN, not even to the police
or the Bank.
