New File Format for APS+ and OBG Files
In March 2015, the Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS) led an industry-wide initiative to upgrade the GIRO payments infrastructure to be in line with ISO 20022 standard. Maybank Business Internet Banking Automated Payment System Plus (APS+)/Outward Interbank GIRO (OBG) services subscriber are such that you can now enjoy:
To prevent any operational/service impact to you, our system had been enhanced to support both old and new data entry format for APS+ (Payment by File Upload)/OBG since then. However, to comply with industry standard, the acceptance of the old file format will cease with effect from 30 September 2016. If you have not already done so, you are strongly encouraged to switch to the new data entry format shown below before this deadline to avoid any operational or service disruption.
