  1. What are the requirements before I can enable Quick Touch?

    You must have the following in order to enable Quick Touch:

    1. Maybank Mobile Banking app (iOS or Android)
    2. iOS or Android mobile device with fingerprint identity sensor Min system requirement: iOS 9 / Android 6 (Marshmallow)
    3. Stored fingerprint in the mobile device

    You will need to check your mobile device manual for this process as it differs from each device.

  3. How do I enable the Quick Touch service?

    You need to login to the Maybank SG app to enable the Quick Touch service. 
    Ensure that you have your fingerprint/s stored in your mobile device before enabling the Quick Touch.

    1. In the Home screen of the Maybank SG app, select Settings icon in the upper left corner of the page. 
    2. Inside the Settings page, select 'Enable Quick Touch'
    3. Read and agree on the notes and terms and conditions for Quick Touch service
    4. Tap on Enable button  

    We do not recommend you enable the Quick Touch service if you have any other person's fingerprint stored in your mobile device.  If you have, you understand that such person will have access to your account.

  4. How many mobile device can I activate for Quick Touch?

    You can only activate Quick Touch in one of your mobile devices at any given time.

  6. How do I disable the Quick Touch service?

    You can disable the service by going back to the Settings page.  

    Tap on Disable Quick Touch to de-register from the service.

  7. How do I disable the Quick Touch service if I lost my mobile device or my mobile device is stolen?

    If you are unable to disable the service due to loss or stolen mobile device, you may call our hotline (1800 6292265) to request for manual de-registration of Quick Touch service.

  8. I have a new mobile device but I have enabled Quick Touch in my previous mobile device. Will my Quick Touch registration in my new mobile device disable the Quick Touch registration in my previous mobile device?

    Yes, it will.  You will receive a prompt when you try to enable Quick Touch in your new mobile device.  If you proceed with the registration in your new mobile device, the Quick Touch registration in your previous mobile device will be disabled.  i.e only the latest phone will have quick touch thereafter.

  9. If I use the wrong fingerprint when logging in, will it lock my Online Banking or Mobile Banking access?

    No, it will not lock your IB access.  However, you will not be able to use Quick Touch unless you have enabled the Touch ID or Fingerprint Authentication in your mobile device.

  10. How do we re-enabled the Touch ID or Fingerprint authentication in our mobile device?

    You will need to key in passcode of the phone to re-enable Touch ID

  11. What if my Online Banking or Mobile Banking access get locked? Will I be able to use Quick Touch?

    No, you will not be able to use Quick Touch if your Online Banking/Mobile Banking access is locked.  You will require to perform a Password Reset before you can use Quick Touch again.
