  1. What are the requirements before I can enable Quick Balance?

    You must have the following in order to enable Quick Balance:

    1. Active IB access
    2. Maybank Mobile Banking app (version 4. 0 for iOS and 3.7 for Android)
    3. Minimum system requirement: iOS 9 / Android 6 (Marshmallow)

  2. How do I enable the Quick Balance service?

    You need to login to the Maybank SG app to enable the Quick Balance service.

    Step 1: Upon login, tap on the gear icon on the upper left corner of the Home page. 
    Step 2: Tap on ‘Enable Quick Balance’
    Step 3: Select the preferred account for Quick Balance. Read and accept the Terms and Conditions before tapping ‘Enable’ button
    Done! You Quick Balance service has been enabled!

    You will receive an SMS notification and email notification upon successful registration for Quick Balance. (Please see PowerPoint for SMS/Email Notifications)

    We do not recommend you enable the Quick Balance service if you let someone else use your device. If you do, you understand that such person will be able to view your Account Information without the need to login.

  3. How many mobile device can I activate for Quick Balance?

    You can only activate Quick Balance in one of your mobile devices at any given time.

  5. How do I disable the Quick Balance service?

    You can disable the service by going back to the Settings page (gear icon).

    Tap on Maintain Quick Balance > Disable to de-register from the service.

    There will be email and SMS for de-registration as well. Please refer to Powerpoint for a sample of it.

  6. How do I disable the Quick Balance service if I lost my mobile device or my mobile device is stolen?

    If you are unable to disable the service due to lost or stolen mobile device, you may call our hotline (1800 6292265) to request for manual de-registration of Quick Balance service.

  7. I have a new mobile device but I have enabled Quick Balance in my previous mobile device. Will my Quick Balance registration in my new mobile device disable the Quick Balance registration in my previous mobile device?

    Yes, it will.  You will receive a prompt when you try to enable Quick Balance in your new mobile device.  If you proceed with the registration in your new mobile device, the Quick Balance registration in your previous mobile device will be disabled.  i.e only the latest phone will have Quick Balance thereafter

  8. Can I amend the accounts I want to view for Quick Balance?

    Yes. You can amend the accounts you want to view for Quick Balance.

    Go to Setting page.  Tap on Maintain Quick Balance > Amend.

    To amend the accounts for Quick Balance, the feature will have to be disabled first before you can re-select your preferred accounts.

  9. What if my Online Banking or Mobile Banking access get locked? Will I be able to use Quick Balance?

    No, you will not be able to use Quick Balance if your Online Banking/Mobile Banking access is locked.  You will require to perform a Password Reset before you can use Quick Balance again.

  10. What is the maximum number of preferred account that I can select?

    You can register up to 3 accounts ie. minimum 1 account, maximum 3 accounts.

  11. If customer IB is locked, can I still access Quick Balance?

    No. You cannot access Quick Balance if your IB access is locked.

  12. Will there be any scenario where customer may get lock out of Quick Balance?

    Quick Balance will not be available even if customer enabled the service when all accounts registered are tagged as Closed or ineligible for account enquiry.
