    Maybank Mobile Banking is the mobile version of our Maybank2u.com.sg (Online Banking), which is currently supported on iPhones and Android platform smartphones.

  4. What are the phones supported for Mobile Banking?

    At the current moment, only iPhone and Android phones are supported. We support up to iPhone 4 and also Android 2.2 (Froyo).

  5. Do I need to be a Maybank customer in order to user Mobile Banking?

    Yes. You need to be an existing accountholder with Maybank2u.com.sg access. If you are not our customer yet, simply sign up for an iSAVvy Savings Account.

  6. Do I need to register for Mobile Banking?

    No, you do not need to fill up any form to register for Maybank Mobile Banking. You just need to be a current user of our Maybank2u.com.sg (Online Banking) service and have performed a First Time Login.

  7. Are there any charges for using Mobile Banking?

    No, Maybank Mobile Banking service is free. It is our way of encouraging more customers to enjoy and experience the convenience of banking anytime, anywhere. However, you may wish to check with your mobile service operator on the applicable data plan charges for logging on to internet.

  8. Do I need to download any application?

    No downloading of any application is necessary.

  9. Do I need to use any particular mobile service provider?

    There are no limitations on any mobile service provider to be used. You simply need a smartphone with internet connection.

    Mobile Banking can be accessed provided you have an internet connection on your smartphone. You may wish to check with your service provider on the charges that may be incurred for accessing internet.

    Yes, you can provided you have access to internet service on your mobile phone while you are overseas. You may also wish to check with your telecommunication service provider for the roaming charges applicable for going online when you are overseas.

  1. Is Mobile Banking secure?

    At Maybank, we have invested in the most secured encryption technology (128-bit Secure Sockets Layer or SSL) to safeguard your information and transactions transmitted over the Internet.

    You can also see that it is a secured site by looking out for the lock at the top.

  2. Why is my access to Mobile Banking slow?

    The speed of accessing is dependent on the internet connection speed and smartphone models.

  3. What should I do if I lost my phone or it is stolen?

    Please call our Contact Centre on 1800-MAYBANK (1800-629 2265) or (65) 6533 5229 (Overseas) for your account to be disabled.

  4. Why am I not able to login to Maybank Mobile Banking?

    You can try to delete the cookies, history, cache and reset the iPhone.

    Restart iPhone: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone back on, press and hold the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears.

    If you can’t turn off iPhone or if the problem continues, you may need to reset. A reset should be done only if turning iPhone off and on doesn’t resolve the problem.

    Reset iPhone: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

  5. Can I update payee for Mobile Banking?

    For security reasons, adding of new payee accounts has to be done through Maybank2u.com.sg (Online Banking) before you can use Maybank Mobile Banking service to make a payment.

  6. I have forgotten my Username/Password. What should I do?

    You can apply for a replacement PIN through the following options:

    • At any Maybank ATM using an ATM card issued by Maybank Singapore
      • Insert your ATM Card and select your preferred language.
      • Enter your ATM PIN.
      • At the Main Menu screen, select “More Services”.
      • Then select “Access ID Application”.
      • At the Access ID Services screen, select “Access ID Application” again.
      • Choose and key in your own six-digit PIN for Online Banking.
      • Re-enter your six-digit PIN to confirm.
      • Your new PIN will then be successfully registered and a receipt with your Access ID will be issued to you upon confirmation.
    • eServices application form
      • To apply for replacement PIN, simply complete the enclosed eServices form and mail it back to us. Alternatively, you may submit the form at any Maybank Branch in Singapore. We will send you the Access ID and PIN in separate mailers within five business days upon receipt of your duly completed form.
      • Once you have received your Access ID and PIN, please perform First Time Login at www.maybank2u.com.sg (Online Banking)

    At this moment, you can only view the balances for Savings Accounts, Current Accounts, Debit and Credit Cards Accounts only.

  3. Will I be charged for using the RegionLink - Online Funds Transfer (Malaysia) service?

    Yes. For transfers to Malaysia, a service fee of S$15 will be levied.
