June 2007 Maybank launches Savings Account-i, the first Syari’ah-compliant passbook savings account in Singapore.
Maybank is the first bank in Singapore to launch an Income Tax GIRO Scheme which gives customers up to 5% rebate on their personal income tax paid via monthly GIRO through a Maybank SaveUp Account.
May 2007 Maybank launches the Regal Structured Deposit, the first structured deposit to be linked directly to palm oil prices traded on Bursa Malaysia.
April 2007 Maybank is the first to tie up with Visa International in Singapore to offer Visa Money Transfer, a card-to-card payment service which allows Maybank customers to send funds from their Visa cards to other Visa cardholders around the world.
February 2007 Maybank launches the Premier Structured Deposit in Singapore, the first Syariah-compliant structured deposit in the region.
