Change your Credit Card Limit Through
 
Exclusive to Maybank Online Banking customers with Security Tokens or 2FA SMS Service
 
With Maybank SpeedLink, you can now quickly change your personal credit card limit or the monthly spending limit of your supplementary cards by phone, giving you more ease in exercising control over your finances. To access this service, you need only call 1800-MAYBANK (1800-629 2265) or (65) 6533 5229(Overseas) and enter your Credit Card number, followed by the One-Time Password (OTP) from your Security Token or sent via SMS to your mobile phone number that has been registered for 2FA SMS service.

To be eligible for the service, you need to:

With SpeedLink, you will enjoy:
  • Instant and permanent change* to your credit card limit
  • Instant and permanent change* to the monthly spending limit of your supplementary card
  • Flexibility to change the limit daily from 3.30 am to 12 am
  • Flexibility to change the card limit within the credit limit granted**
  • This added feature in the Maybank Security Token or 2FA SMS OTP is free of charge
  • Now you have more reason to carry the Maybank Security Token or register your mobile phone number with us for the 2FA SMS service.

The change will be effected for a permanent period upon customer’s confirmation via the Integrated Voice Response system. Customer is limited to 3 changes per day per card
** Change in card limit must be within the credit limit granted to Principal Cardmember by the Bank

Important Notes
  1. For changes in Credit Card limit or the monthly spending limit of the Supplementary Card, only the Principal Credit Cardmember can make the request. Supplementary Cardmembers will not have access to this service.
  2. As the limit of a Supplementary Card cannot be higher than that of the Principal Card, the monthly spending limit of the Supplementary Card will be automatically adjusted immediately if the new credit limit of the Principal Card is lower than the existing monthly spending limit.
